Contracts and schedules tailored to your facility

Packing, warehousing, and export after removal are coordinated with our warehouse & logistics operations and follow the process described on the Business page.

Safety, data & compliance

Data erasure

We handle workstations and system data according to your facility policies and manufacturer procedures, and can provide documentation such as erasure certificates where required.

Site safety

Jigs, cranes, low-bed trucks, and in-hospital route planning are arranged to protect patients and staff and to respect clinical schedules.

Licensing alignment

Eligible modalities and destinations depend on our business scope and licenses; some cases need prior review.

Documentation complete

Information to share beforehand

  • Equipment details (generic name, trade name, model, serial number)
  • Installation conditions (floor level, exit route, elevators, protection area)
  • Preferred timing (closed days, night work, and other constraints)
  • Accessories and operating status (in use / stopped / missing parts)

What LJ confirms during consultation

  • Whether we can proceed under required licenses (e.g. highly controlled medical device sales, secondhand dealer)
  • Whether the quote includes removal, transport, and documentation
  • Whether work reports and evidence can be provided per law and facility rules
  • Whether we can propose an execution plan matching the exit route and work schedule

* Depending on the model and site conditions, procedures and required documents may change after the on-site survey.

Typical steps by modality

Steps vary by site; the following are representative examples.

MRI removal

  1. Demagnetization (field ramp-down)
  2. Patient data erasure
  3. Thorough protection of the removal route
  4. Jig detachment and separation from installation
  5. Packing in parallel with other steps
  6. Vehicle securing and removal

Magnet cooling for ocean versus air freight may be planned at our warehouse.

CT removal

  1. Patient data erasure
  2. Thorough protection of the removal route
  3. Tilt lock and other removal preparation
  4. Packing and removal

PET-CT removal

  1. Phantom tests and checks per site requirements
  2. Dolly loading and securing
  3. Removal from site

Systems involving radiopharmaceuticals or controlled areas need advance coordination and may be declined under some conditions (see below).

Angiography removal

  1. Data erasure
  2. Jigging and packing prep
  3. Removal

Scope and information needed in advance

  • Please share manufacturer, model, age, room conditions (floor load, egress), and target dates.
  • PET-CT and similar systems may be subject to facility rules and law; we may be unable to proceed in some cases.
  • Whether equipment is running, idle, or missing parts affects purchase and removal terms.

Case studies

Even when standard routes are blocked by door height limits or window-only access, we complete removals with fixtures, cranes, and protection—examples of our specialized removal work.

CASE 01 Clinic A View details

MRI Achieva 1.5T

Special extraction: Rotation Tool (tilt fixture)

  • Exit door opening lower than the magnet height (door opening height 2,100 mm)
  • Imported a Rotation Tool, tilted the magnet to clear the height limit
  • Completed removal end-to-end including site protection and crane lift
CASE 02 Clinic B View details

CT Aquilion Lightning

Special extraction: through a 1.5 m-high window

  • Standard doorways were unusable; planned exterior extraction via the window
  • Laid the gantry on its side (90°) to clear the window frame height
  • Lowered to ground level by crane and completed removal
